1. who we are

Shinerds is a conversion rate optimization (CRO) and Shopify development agency. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, you can reach us directly at hello@shinerds.com.

• Via the free audit form: your name, email address, store URL, estimated monthly revenue, and how you discovered us.
• When you schedule a call: your name, email address, and selected meeting time.
• When you become a client: business contact details, billing information, and collaborator access to your Shopify store and analytics platforms required to perform our work.

3. how we use your data

We use your information strictly to record and deliver your personalized store audit, communicate with you regarding your inquiry, schedule discovery calls, and—when we work together—execute CRO research, development, A/B testing, and invoicing. By submitting an inquiry or audit request, you also consent to receiving relevant follow-up communications from Shinerds (which you can opt out of at any time).

4. store analytics & client confidentiality

When granted access to your Shopify store, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or Intelligems, we treat all store performance metrics and customer behavior insights as strictly confidential. We never extract, store, or misuse your customers' personally identifiable information (PII).

5. data retention

Inquiries and audit requests that do not lead to a collaboration are removed within 24 months, unless we have a legitimate business interest to retain them longer. Client billing and administrative records are retained for 7 years to comply with standard tax and accounting regulations.

6. third-party processors & sharing

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share data with trusted infrastructure providers necessary to operate our agency—such as cloud hosting, email delivery, Slack for client communication, and scheduling tools (such as Calendly). Each provider processes data under strict security and privacy standards.

7. cookies & embeds

Our website uses minimal, privacy-friendly analytics to measure site performance. Embedded third-party widgets—such as the scheduling calendar on our booking page—may set functional cookies governed by their respective privacy policies.

8. your rights
